Mildly say – I’m quite surprised

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008 by Kiyu

Woah.

I’m.. surprised. No, that’s underexaggerating it. I’m.. shocked? I don’t know.
Remember half of the Essay om kjærlighet essay that I posted two weeks ago? I was very happy with it at first, but then I started to wager. What if..?
There’s always a ‘what if’ somewhere.

School started today, and my first period was Norwegian. I knew I would get my essay back, and so I wasn’t too eager to get a look at my grade with all the depressing thoughts that had occoured to me lately. Thankfully my teacher didn’t hand them out at once, she first had a few words to say to us. She was mildly surprised and quite content that we were doing this good with this essay genre compared to the previous more normal ones. I’m not surprised, an essay is a more philosophical and reflecting text. I’d much rather write this than a boring article.
She wanted to read a few of the remarking ones that stood out, out loud for us before she handed the essays back, so we settled ourselves as comfortable as possible in our hard chairs and waited patiently for her to start.
She was silent for a bit, surely to consider how to best start it off, and then her overly dramatic voice echoed in the room.

“If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They’ll remain a part of each other’s lives no matter what.”

That’s when I started to laugh.

Both because the sudden realization dawned on me, and because her English pronouncing was.. well, not the best one I’ve heard. Certainly not from a teacher. (But her German is remarkable, though!) But I really shouldn’t have laughed though. All my classmates’ heads turned in my direction, and by the look they gave me, I realized that I had given myself away.
When my teacher had finished reading the more than two pages long essay, she paused again and the classroom went silent as if in after thought. Suddenly an applause boomed out of nowhere, and I was so taken aback that I started yelling “What the hell!” while I laughed again.
I really laugh too much, and certainly also at the most weird times. *chuckles*

She then started to talk about the traits of the essay, the techniques and style that was present in the essay to explain to us how it made the essay great. She then followed with two more essays, both of them impressive in their own way. One of them was Elisabeth’s. Why was I not surprised? I recognized it by the kåseri-ish style and the great language that is so very Elisabeth.

We both got a 6 on our essays. I was quite taken aback by mine. Very much so. BUT OH SO VERY HAPPY :D *grins* I will post the full-length, final edition of the essay later today if you wish to read it The final edition is up, you can access it through here.

I feel very very content today! I feel like I’ve succeeding in so much, because I found a way to keep myself awake in physics class aswell. I doodle! I think physics class will be very productive from now on. Reflecting over thoughts and ideas in class? Checked. Doodling in my physics book during class? Checked. No more sleeping and therefore no pooking from Snorre? Definitely checked. Still get the stuff the teacher is preaching about even though my focus is somewhere far away? Checked.
Yes, I absolutely like this! Ahh, well. I guess I’ll have to show you today’s product from physics class. Just click it, will ya?

I also found out today that Elisabeth is reading Twilight aswell. She’s going to start on New Moon, the second book now that it has arrived though. I think I will lend her my Eclipse if she wants to borrow it :3
Alice, oh Alice. I would have sworn I was your twin when you were still a human if only we weren’t born in a complete different era. Time for some fanart of my second favorite Cullen!

The moment

Monday, March 24th, 2008 by Kiyu

“The moment,” Cales said.
He was referring to how I look “different” in pictures when compared to real life me. It’s not the physical that’s changed. Like he said; I “was still Kieu” (to those who don’t know; Kieu is my birth name). I still look like me, myself, and no-one else. But there is something different, a simple gesture, a twitch at the corner of my mouth. A fraction of time freezed for eternity. Time is flowing continuosly, never stops, never slows down. I am “Kieu” when time flows, elements and actions caused by myself makes me “Kieu”. But when one moment is freezed, one of the elements is enhanced and I seem “different” because of that.
Cales really has an intresting mind.

People never seem to get tired of getting surprised by my contrasting looks and personality. A few days ago I was once again confronted with how tiny and innocent I look, but oh what evil personality this little shell hosts. “Evil” as in you-talk-before-you-think-and-therefore-say-a-lot-of-insensitive-things. That’s actually true, I do say a lot of weird stuff. I never stop to think twice before I talk. Okay, maybe when I get in the philosophical mood. But never whenever I’m excited. Beware, I get excited all day long. I feel really sorry for sensitive people, I must literary kill them with my insensitiveness!

I have no clue of what’s normal for guys to give us girls on White Day(March 14th), but people sure do know me well! I gave some obligatory chocolate to a few of my buddies on Valentines Day, and they respond with the most wonderful gifts! I’ve always been very fond of ribbons and liquorice candy. Actually, I told people to give me ribbons for christmas, and I’m actually bribable with liquorice candy.

Ops, shouldn’t have said that.

Anyways, I got a bunch of ribbons, lots of liquorice candy and – this one is the most awesome of them all – Vampire Knight volume 3. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF HOW OBSESSED I AM WITH THIS MANGA SERIES? No, you really don’t know, eh? Well, it’s my second obsession after Twilight. And that’s huge to say the least.

Edward CullenTalking about Twilight, I’ve been in a fanart-mode lately. I’ve thought constantly about drawing the inhumanly gorgeous Cullens, but knowing myself as well as I do, I wouldn’t even pick up the pencil. I rarely ever draw. Sad, isn’t it? I should draw more though, I know I should. It’s just that I lack the motivation B-A-D-L-Y. I must have a real huge urge to draw something to even bother sketch something! And when I do sketch/draw anything, I don’t bother post it on my blog or show anyone besides PGGANG if there is something they will recognize. Man, what do I own a blog for, really! But you know what. I’m surprised I actually drew some fanart. Oh how I love the Cullens
Oh Edward, my beloved Edward! You can bite me any time! Oh, right. He doesn’t bite humans.
Okay, so I cut Edward out of a Cullen siblings fanart I’m working on. I really hate adding those dark circles under their eyes, they make them look really ill! And yes, that is Alice by his left that you see there.

*OBSESS OBSESS*

*sigh*

I’m really obsessed with these books. Oh, I really like this interview MTV Movie News did with the actress for Victoria of the twilight movie.
