There is one great aspect about being petite and tiny (honestly, people think I’m a kid as long as I don’t speak); I can buy clothes in the kids’ department. The childrens’ section at H&M carries a lot of the same fashion as the other sections, and the prices are often a lot lower! Look at this bargain I made today! 300 NOK for the jacket!

I always wanted a leather jacket, but since my body body is so small, the shoulders won’t fit me (they’re always huge and poofy). I don’t HAVE shoulders D: But look at this one! Fits me perfectly! Perhaps a bit wide at the waist, but to hell with it! And yes, I’m in one of those girly moments where I have to rant about fashion now! Wuuhuu!
ALRIGHT, back to track! They still have not stopped praising our særemne-presentation heeheh. We must have struck a cord! :3 Dangit, should have recorded it! And they genuinly want to read the books! Or perhaps I should be a bit more specific; they genuinly want to read The Golden Compass! Even though it is a huge block of paper and a lot of my classmates aren’t really fantasy-people! I never expected that! WOOHOO MISSION COMPLETED :D

That’s … sort of small :P
I really liked the books too, in particular the two main characters and their chemistry. In addition I think the contents of the books have been dragged totally out of proportion. People seem to forget that books are supposed to entertain, damnit! :P
I.. AM small.
I was spellbound by Lyra and Will’s chemistry too. I was heartbroken at the end of book 3. Sigh. You know, I even went hunting for ‘Lyra’s Oxford’ (a short novel set a year or so after The Amber Spyglass) when I was in England in hope for more reflections about the past times from Lyra.
And agreed! People analyze way too much and then they fret. But then again, we’re taught to do so xD At least all my literature teachers do!
We never got to film the presentation, so I don’t know! My teacher wants us to do the presentation again for those who didn’t attend school that day, but I honestly don’t know. We’ll see!
What’s that story about? It kind of crushed me that they had to be separated like that. Didn’t really feel like a happy ending, although a lot of people think it was one. Happy endings are where the whole world goes down in flames, but the couple are together and happy on a lonely island.
Yes, I’m a romantic sap… :P
Oh, and will we ever get to see the presentation on the ‘net? :>
Så let’s cross fingers for an A! ;)
DU BURDE MISUNNE OSS SMÅ FOLK HEAHEA. Her blir det penger spart!
Takk takk!
YEAH, LET’S HOPE FOR AN A! :D
Hoho, jeg passer også barneavdelingsklær, det er hærlig :D
LUCKY PEOPLE >:D
Lucky~! I always find the clothes in the kids’ department to be way cooler than in the adult section. :p
They often are! And way cheaper!
^ Agreed! They’re more colourful and happier too… <3 I don’t know if I’d fit them. Haven’t tried in a long time. My arms might be too long, or my shoulders too wide. *needs to check it out when she gets home*
Unlike you, I have shoulders… and they’re broad. I’ve got a swimmer’s body, though, so that’s kind of cool… as long as certain people would stop teasing me for them. :< I do not. look. like. a walking cross, damn it! XD
On the plus side of things, I’m not a teeny brittle girl. I’m not tall nor very strongly built, but I do have muscles and I can do up to 10 pull ups because I’m awesome. XP So it’s not all bad. Just don’t give me padded shoulders. EVER. (Blazers, damn you!)
WOW. 10 pull-ups?! I’d be panting by then! I might manage 10 push-ups at one go if I push myself, but that’s it! Don’t even think about making repeating it 30 seconds later! (Which me P.E. teacher does frequently..)
A walking cross? HAHA. You’re lucky to have a swimmer’s body since you’re a swimmer! Padded shoulders do indeed look quite silly..
You know, I might look puny and all that, but I actually endure a lot! Especially physical pain! : D
Haha, the pull-ups are the same for me. I’m able to do ten….and then no more! At least not for, you know, half an hour or so.
Swimmer? Well, I used to be. :P I plan on starting again, though. Just for fun and training, though, not for serious seriousness. ;P
I think my pain tolerance is pretty high… But I’m not too keen on testing it out if I don’t have to. XD
I’ve heard somewhere that girl’s tolerance are supposedly higher than boy’s. Which might make sense if you think about it… but I’m not sure how reliable that is. I did, however, find this (I did a google search on pain tolerance):
“Experiences children rate as painful vary widely and include such examples as bee stings, paper cuts, and having their legs waxed.”
…wait a minute. Children? Leg waxing?! Did I miss something here?! XD Oh my… well, whatever floats your boat…
