Courser = speedy horse
Traverse = here: travel/adventure
Chariot = carriage
Don’t you all agree!
Mrs. English might be dusty and queer, she might not be delightful to neither the eye nor the ear, her teaching methods are unoriginal and awfully boring, but honestly; the curriculum in this subject is far too exciting to be overshadowed by small trifles! I don’t know if I would have discovered treasures like the authors of the Romantic Age, Oliver Twist (I would never associate it with a book as a kid), Emily Dickensen’s mysterious poems (I love her beautiful use of metaphors!), further studies of my hero Shakespeare and so on. And let’s not forget I get to speak and write English (actually, I’m allowed to write English in Religion and ethics too)! Oh what a wonderful course! And with the overseas trip we make (England for us English students) in the 5th term at our school, it makes for an absolutely fantatic course! Lutten, I’ll kick their asses if you don’t get admitted into this course when you get back from America! You will honestly miss out on something I know you will enjoy greatly!

I was never too fond of Dickens myself, nor Shakespeare. No idea why, maybe because they’re so gritty and dark, if you know what I mean. That’s a personal taste thing though. Linguistically it’s freakin’ awesome to read! :P
