Something Wicked This Way Comes!

March 4th, 2009 by Kiyu

Do you watch Ugly Betty regularly? Did you see that one episode in season 2 where Betty and her then boyfriend Henry were having a secret date and ended up at the same musical as her boss Daniel and his date? Did you actually notice the musical, or were you too busy being all anxious for Betty and Henry? Well, I certainly noticed the musical, for the image of the very few glimpses I had of some of the scenes never left my mind. Guess who’s finally going to see Wicked in London in just a month!

This little trip to UK is not for that purpose though, the main reason I’m going to Britain again is that I’ve been invited to a Pharmacy Visit Day at UEA (University of East Anglia) 1st April. I am so excited about going to Norwich (where UEA resides), a former medieval town! It’s rumored to be such a beautiful city, with lots of remnants from medieval times still visible! I can’t wait to see how the little town from the film Stardust looks like in real life!

“Are we human because we gaze at the stars,
Or do we gaze at them because we are human?”

Well, what do you think? Which one seem correct? Or are there perhaps no correct answer?

PS! Bao, here’s the most updated schedule!

And check out this comment here, how incredible sweet of her! I shall do my best, thi-chan!

Oh, you lucky, lucky girl! :D I want to see wicked too~!

I saw The Lion King in London. Musicals are lovely! …and is it just me, or are musicals extra magical when seen in England? (Oh! And… well, I’ve never been to Broadway, but I’m imagining that would feel pretty special too! Boradway~ Judy Garland~ Fred Astaire~ *ehem* I love old musicals. :3 )

It’s not just you, musicals in London really are MAGICAL! Costumes, special effects, characters, dancing, singing, music, engage-the-audience-technique and scenery! Not to mention their brilliant humour!

:D Kan absolutt anbefales!

And.. uh.. Eiving VonEgg? What about him? O_O
