Fingers twitching. Eyes searching for nothing in particular.
Clutching a book with my right hand, I slipped on my favorite pair of ballerinas. The breeze was still going on hard, but I braced myself to drink in the sunlight. Father was tending to the vegetables, making sure the fragile sprouts would withstand a whipping breeze or two. I skidded to a stop beside him and gave him a cheery hi. He wondered what I was on about bouncing around in the garden like a nuts. Truth to be told, I couldn’t be still. Restless. That was it. Right from the moment when I lifted my pen off the last exam paper earlier this afternoon. Restless. And free. Done with all written exams. Done with the burden, free to spend my time as I wish!
The weather was perfect and I wished so longingly for someone to share it all with, someone that I could enjoy a cold glass of homemade lemon limonade with under our blooming apple trees. But people live too far away to just pop by, and the closest one was busy studying.
Akk. But I was still druggishly happy :)
A silly recitation of William Wordsworth’s The Solitary Reaper done in a moment of great adoration. Correctly pronounced English not guaranteed, proceed on your own risk.

I know that all too well. Was reading through the Wheel of Time series back in vgs. Lo and behold, for I was at the latest book when exam-times came around. Horrible, horrible idea. So much to do… well, I guess you know what happened. At least I managed!
Haha how silly we were! Well, I think I managed too!
The poem recital–how ethereal! The music in the background makes it just … magical.
Oh, and you twittered about how you were ‘bleeding like a pig’? Because I read on this very blog about a horrendous incident that took place last year–around these times–involving you bleeding profusely … and I am guessing–’like a pig’? Are you particularly prone to accidents around May?
And–seeing as you haven’t blogged or twittered since then, I feel I should ask: you are OK, aren’t you?
Oh yeah, I’m alright, sorry! Didn’t know it could stirr up worrisome thoughts :) Haha I don’t think I’m an accident magnet at all (anytime), but springtime usually means whacky, manly voice, runny noise and chopped up throat. And I’m not even allergic to anything! For some magical reason I’ve managed to stay well this year.. perhaps that’s why I’m bleeding instead xD
And no, it wasn’t an accident this time (gotta say, I’m impressed that you remembered!), just one of my pimples on my forehead. It’s a tiny one, so I was quite taken aback at the amount of blood it produced. Wouldn’t stop, that silly thing! I was scratching my forehead, and suddenly my index finger was all bloody. Not a nice sight.
So yes, I am completely fine, thank you for asking :) Still running around in the sun like an idiot! :D
