Jewelry tree

May 1st, 2009 by Kiyu

This wire tree is holding my mother’s earrings

Inspired by all the beautiful wire trees at DeviantArt, I decided to make one for Ngoc. I wanted to combine beauty with something practical that she could use, so I made it into a jewelry holder. I twisted some loops on the branches so that the tree could hold earrings. The branches are also ideal for holding rings or smaller bracelets. This tree is approximately 15 cm tall (the rock included), thicker/taller trees will suit bigger/heavier bracelets better.

If you want someone to notice your jewelries, then this is the perfect way to show them off!

It is made from 1.0 mm wire thread and decorated with green and aqua glass beads. I’m going to mount it onto the rock as soon as I figure out how. My fingers are so sore after all that twisting!

Interested in supporting a poor russ by buying a tree? Just leave me a comment and I’ll get in touch with you :) (You are not committed to buy anything by expressing interest) Remember to fill in the correct e-mail in the e-mail field in order for me to get in touch with you. Thank you!

Oh, tmn and m-linh, you’ll have to poke me on msn and give me your adresses so that I can send you my russ card :D

Without jewelries

Oh, and if you’re wondering why all the pictures in every post look so crappy; it is because I don’t own any other camera beside my cellphone camera. I threw out my digital camera a long time ago.

I keep imagining you as this crazy artist chick who’ll be making the most awesome stuff for the most insane prices in 10 years and live in mad opulence. Because, frankly, most of what I’ve seen from you so far is really awesome. Yes, this one is awesome too.

I hope you’re being ironic, because I have no sense of business at all :( Should get myself a manager!

Haha, har ikkje eg heller. Bortsett frå i WoW då, men da tvile eg på at telle så veldig.

Du har alltids QXL og Finn.no, evt eBay, as starters. Kunne sikkert vore interessant for deg å sjå kor du kan ta dette ;D
