Right, so this post is long over due but better late than never at all! I have seen so much, done so much, eaten so much and travelled so much within the 3 weeks I spent in HK. It was a memorable trip, but unless you want to read pages up and down I think I better let the photos speak for themselves! (There’s actually more photos to come) However, there are a few things I would like to point out:
…I have never in my life seen so many couples in one place and at the same time before! HK is literally a couples mecca! There were couples everywhere!
…all the girls there are freakishly skinny and pretty. I was never one to talk about losing fat because my metabolism works crazily fast, but now I understand why HK girls at UEA always talk about how they need to become skinnier. They grew up in a society where they were taught that being THIS skinny and THIS girly and THIS dolled up is what’s normal, while I was brought up in an environment where being as skinny as me was just scrawny and putting on a dress and heels was too much for a normal day. I wasn’t a HK citizen, but I could sense how it was almost a crime not to be skinny and gorgeous if you were a girl! Whew, we got it so much easier in the western world! Also I want to stab my male HK friends for being such sexists. Jesus. Who said I can’t do this and that just because I’m a girl?
…Disneyland is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. and I want to go back.
…I never got used to the insane heat (even after 3 weeks).
…it took too long for me to understand the mtr (which is like the London tube, only better).
…HK people are RICH. OHMYGOODNESS. They have pretty high living standard. Food and transport is pretty cheap, but if you want to buy stuff and you don’t go to markets, don’t expect to be wowed by the prices. They’re pretty much standard.
…HK is gorgeous during the night when the whole city is lit up by all the lights from the buildings. There’s a special atmosphere to big cities during nighttime. It’s just gorgeous… and believe it or not; very romantic.

Hey eventually, but tbh I was expecting more details…hmm you gonna tell me when we both back to England? Well I know I’ll have loads haha
Hahahahaha. I’m too lazy! There’s just too much if I were to write about it! I would literally end up writing a novel! You know me, I like the details and writing about my thoughts so there would just have been too much for the average reader. These kind of stories are better suited for a good old fashioned conversation where I can lash out in all the details and talk for hours and hours! There was seriously so much happening… and YES, there will be loads for you to listen to when we’re back in England!
Actually yes, let’s have a belated birthday celebration when we’re back! I won’t be celebrating my birthday in Norway so might as well have a bit of fun in England!

Looks like you had a great adventure!! Wow, you’ve gone from Norway to London to Hong Kong .. :) I wish I had the courage to travel so far and wide haha!
Looking through the photos, I suddenly had a flashback to your old outfits with ribbons, bright colors, and converse XD (please excuse my lurking tendencies ;_; ) your fashion has really evolved a lot! lol~

I know :) Occasionally I get those flashbacks myself and wonder what happened. But then since I am me, I know very well what happened. haha. Do I make sense at all?
It’s been a wonderful trip indeed! You know, travelling teaches you a lot. If you get the opportunity to travel anywhere, you definitely should!
Haha I do understand! It’s always surprising to realize how much we change as we get older, despite having experienced it :)
Sadly I haven’t gone much farther than a neighboring state here in US, but I would love to travel somewhere in Europe sometime :D You know what kind of place I can really picture you traveling to.. Venice! :)
