Homemade paper flowers

My sister has a knack for making paper flowers and one day she asked if I had any wire and scrap paper and forth she magicked these pretties!

I love love love flowers. Unfortunately I’m not particularly gifted in the taking-care-of-plants department and they usually end up dying before their due date. It doesn’t stop me from coming home with a bunch or two though!

I bought this beautiful white porcelain jug from a store that was closing down and got it at a bargain price. For a while it was just sitting around because I had nothing to put in it, but then my sister whipped out these pretty paper flowers and solved my decorating woes. I don’t like the look of fake flowers so these paper flowers turned out a great option for me. If you’re anything like me and keep killing those poor flowers, I suggest paper flowers!

They’re made out of silk paper, you know the kind the shops usually wrap your glassware in for protection. Recycling as well! Win, win!
