Dry shampoo is one of those hair essentials that I need to have a can of on my desk in case the grease monster decides to pay me a visit. I wash my hair every other day as my hair is very dry and damaged, and a decent can of dry shampoo is a life saviour in between washes when things start looking a little too slick.
Batiste is the only brand I’ve stayed with as it’s effective at banishing greasy roots and it’s cheap. I’ve tried several high end ones but I don’t find the results to be much better to compensate for the higher price point. I don’t love the white residue Batiste leaves behind but it’s easy enough to brush off, whilst the brown version only covers my forehead with dirty-looking patches. XXL is just a sticky mess.
They’ve brought out a new limited edition scent Eden with sugar melon and honeysuckle and I think this one is my new favourite! It claims to have an improved long lasting fragrance formula to last in excess of 4 hours, but I can’t vouch for this as my nostrils always get used to any fragrances I apply to myself after a while. I may just be imagining it, but somehow I feel like this one is a smidgen bit more effective! The design is also to die for and I will happily let this stay visible on my desk.
As this is a limited edition I may have to stock up before they’re all gone…
